Jessica Stear, MSW, LCSW
Jessica is an accomplished professional with training in addiction, trauma, anger management, substance use and anxiety disorders. Jessica has an associate degree from Illinois Central College. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in social work from Western Illinois University. She obtained a master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana, and received her LCSW in 2024.
Jessica has experience providing counseling services to a variety of individuals of all ages, in various settings within the community. Jessica utilizes a collaborative and compassionate approach to counseling to foster hope, healing, and resilience.
Jessica was born and raised in Central Illinois. She enjoys spending time with family and helping others. She takes yearly cruises with her wife of thirteen years. She is a proud member and supporter of the LGBTQ+ Community.
Her philosophy is that every individual can heal and function in a healthy environment. Her work is grounded in evidenced base practices. She strives to meet each client where they are at. She establishes client focused goals and will help you to reach them. You will find that Jessica is patient and empathetic towards all who she works with. She can provide you with a safe place to express yourself and can help you to identify healthy coping strategies to lead a productive and happy life.
